This Yamazakura 963 17 Year Old blend was finished in Mizunara wood giving the sweet fruity spirit a range of subtle spices and Japanese incense. The 17 years spent maturing has left this whisky with nicely rounded edges, making it a very smooth drinking experience. Released for the Japanese market, this is one that’s hard to get your hands on anywhere else. *This particular bottling was produced prior to the introduction of Japanese whisky labeling standards in February 2021.*
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
