From Ireland’s Ahascragh Distillery, Xin Gin combines its founders’ Irish roots with their fondness for Asia, having lived there for many years. The bottle takes inspiration from East Asian design while incorporating Celtic a swirl pattern, and the gin within combines a well-balanced host of European and East Asian botanicals.

Xin Gin | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of rose, persimmon, citrus and herbal notes.

Palate: Fragant notes of lemongrass and citrus zest open the way, with resinous juniper bolstered by elegant herbs and spices.

Finish: A lingering finish of subtly exotic fruit notes with underlying cinnamon warmth.

Distillery Information

Ahascragh Distillery will be a state-of-the-art distillery and visitor experience in the West of Ireland. The old Ahascragh mill dates back to the early 1800s and up until the 1950s processed grain into flour. Located in the heart of the village and steeped in history, the mill complex has remained derelict for the past 70 years. We are giving the building a new lease of life with plans for a world class experience and hospitality destination inside a working craft distillery in the village of Ahascragh, County Galway. The eco-distillery will be powered by renewable energy, using new innovative technology. We have a passion and drive to produce some of the first carbon neutral whiskey and gin in Ireland.
