Hailing from the Sauerland mountain range in rural Germany comes Woodland Sauerland Dry Gin. It’s made with native botanicals, including hand-picked sorrel, spruce tops, nettles and dandelion root, so it’s pretty fresh. We reckon its earthy, leafy flavour profile would work pretty well in a Negroni, or just a simple Martini.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Finish is lingering.
