The most distinctive detail about the gin is its pink color from a small amount of red grape skin extract, so pale that it will probably disappear when it’s mixed with soda or tonic. However, it’s exactly this trendy pink color that makes it so loved, that and its unique flavor profile courtesy of juniper berries and a few other botanicals.
Nose: Each sip of the Wölffer Estate Pink Gin greets you with a lovely aroma of fruity goodness with hints of fresh raspberries, piney juniper, anise, and cotton candy.
Palate: This is followed up by a smooth and clean mouthfeel of more fruity flavors with a hint of spiciness from the juniper, anise, fennel, coriander, cumin, and cardamom.
