The brand founder’s eponymous distillery can trace its roots back to 1845, when its agricole libations first came to the fore. This particular expression has been matured in an ex-whisky cask which adds a vanilla sweetness to those earthy agricole aromas. Tasty.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
