For Wild Island’s Distiller’s Cut series, it decided to enlist the help of world renowned Langley Distillery’s master distiller, Rob Dorsett. The limited edition series features the in-season flora from the island. This here is the third batch, produced in February 2019, and the gin spent a year in an oak hogshead that previously contained whisky from Islay.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
