La Grande Dame Blanc Vintage is a full-bodied blend of eight Grand Crus purchased in the 1800s by Madame Clicquot. The color is a luminous sparkling gold with amber highlights. The initial bouquet is remarkably intense, revealing fruity aromas of peach and bergamot with a mineral base. The bouquet is gourmand and voluptuous with hints of brioche, nougat, apricot, vanilla, frangipane, and jasmine.

Distillery Information
Founded in 1772 by Philippe Cliquot from a wealthy banking family, his son François married Barbe Nicole Ponsardin. Sadly she was widowed at just 27 so took over the stewardship of the champagne company, something she proved very good at.
