A Dutch rye-based genever from the A. van Wees distillery de Ooievaar in Amsterdam. They age it in oak casks for at least three years before bottling, allowing the flavours of rye bread to develop.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Finish is smooth and long.
