Decidedly upmarket Cava from Vallformosa, a Barcelona-based producer with over 150 years of winemaking experience. This is made from a single grape variety, the distinctly spicy xarel-lo. It’s then subjected to a long ageing period so that it develops rich, toasty, nutty notes. This is a bit special.
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
