Detailed Description
Made up of some of the best eaux-de-vie produced in the Cognac region, it is inevitably a Grande Champagne Cognac that spent a staggering 32 years aging in a French oak cask. This vintage jewel of the Premier Cru was then finally bottled in 2021 as a limited release. With only 328 bottles produced, it is an exclusive Cognac that should be cherished throughout each tasting. A connoisseur’s dream, Brut de Fut 1989 serves as the perfect gift for someone who holds significance to this vintage year in particular, or quite simply for a lover of vintage Grande Champagne Cognac in general. The Vallein Tercinier Cognac house has been operating since 1850 and has amassed five generations worth of knowledge surrounding fine-tuned Cognac production. Located in the Saintonge region, this brand now has an extensive collection of Cognacs that shines a spotlight on the family’s impressive cellar of eaux-de-vie.
Vallein Tercinier Brut de Fût 1989 Single Cask Cognac | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: The first persistent noses let us discover a Cognac with complex aromas of vine peach and quince. The second noses offer us an olfactory tumult of leather, saffron, nuts, mushrooms and prunes.
Palate: A superb gustatory itinerary offering us an intense, cocoa- flavored, slightly full-bodied and roasted palate. Nice spicy palate, marked by notes of exotic fruits, mango and passion fruit.
Finish: A lot of freshness in the finish and a pleasant persistence, marked by flavors of English cake accompanied by subtle mentholated notes.
