Uno Mas tequilas take great pride in their production process. They note that they harvest agave with a 21-24 “brix sugar content” (that is, 21-24 grams of sugar per 100 grams of solution… some reports show the average at 12 for all agave) and “trimmed very close to the heart.” The agave are cooked in “centuries old” stone ovens for 48-60 hours.
Uno Mas Anejo Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Medium oak wood, vanilla and raisins with faint hint of citrus.
Palate: Smooth and sweet. Distinct oak wood complemented by vanilla, raisins and honey, with a hint of melon.
Finish: Caramel and smoky notes.
