Gueuzerie Tilquin is a renowned brewery located in Bierghes, Belgium. It specializes in the production of traditional lambic-style beers, particularly gueuze and fruit lambics. This particular release is a blend of 1, 2, and 3-year-old lambics, and it is fermented with Riesling grapes that have been macerated for 24 hours.
Nose: Delicate and impressive depth on the nose.
Palate: Notes of green fruit, sourness, and funk.
Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.
The Gueuzerie Tilquin began operations in February 2009. It was 12 years that a new gueuze-producer had emerged in Brabant (the previous was Geuzestekerij De Cam in Gooik, which began in 1997).
