We’re rather excited about this cask-finished gin from Three Wrens, because after English raspberries and fresh basil are steeped in the gin after distillation, the spirit was also rested in casks which previously held balsamic vinegar from Modena! The cask influence is subtle and elevates the fruitiness of the raspberry wonderfully, and we can’t wait to try this in a Gin Smash.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
