Spanish for “Two Cousins,” Dos Primos Blanco is the product of families coming together to create a superior tequila. It’s infused with the bonds of loyalty and the comforts of home. Founders Thomas Rhett and Jeff Worn wanted to create a tequila that blended Mexican tradition with southern sensibility – a deep respect for nature, hospitality, and living life a little slower.

Inspired by family, friends and their love of the outdoors, cousins Thomas Rhett and Jeff Worn sought to create a great tasting tequila that could be enjoyed year round and shared with people they love — regardless of the season or activity. In 2019 they founded the Dos Primos Tequila company, which produces Dos Primos Tequila. Spanish for “Two Cousins,” Dos Primos is a Blanco tequila made from hand harvested 100% blue agave sourced from the estates in Los Altos and the valley area of Jalisco, Mexico.
Nose: Earthy herbal notes followed by hints of citrus and floral hues.
Palate: Sweet cooked agave, with notes of floral and citrus.
Finish: Smooth and lingering.
Located just outside the city of Arandas, in the highlands of Jalisco, DGL sits in a prime location for the superior agave used in our premium tequilas. DGL continues the decades-old partnership in making tequila between the Lux and González families.
DGL’s new distillery, in true González tradition, uses the same methodology to produce award-winning tequila as the family’s Destiladora González González (DGG) has been using for more than 150 years. From plant to pour, their lifelong passion for crafting tequila shines through in Dos Primos Tequila.
