It’s aged in oak, but rather than leaving it for years the distillery uses heating and cooling cycles to accelerate its ageing, which means it’s not legally old enough to be called a whiskey, though it’s still full of aromatic wood smoke and caramel notes.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
