Like all the varieties in the t1 Tequila Uno masterpiece collection, t1 Uno Extra Anejo Sensacional, is made from 100% mature Agave Azul from Jalisco in the Highlands of Mexico. Grown using traditional methods, and containing more agave than most tequila, 84 proof Extra Anejo is aged for 3-1/2 years in scotch casks, giving it a hint of smokiness and a whisper of mezcal.

T1’s master distiller, Germ√°n Gonz√°lez, is the son of Chinaco founder, Guillermo Gonzalez Diaz Lombardo, and grandson of General Manuel Gonz√°lez, the former president of Mexico. After working for years as Chinaco’s master distiller, Germ√°n left to start his own tequila label. Part of the t1 Tequila Uno Masterpiece Collection, Extra A√±ejo Sensacional is made with 100% mature agave azul from Jalisco, Mexico. It is aged for 3-1/2 years in former scotch whisky casks and bottled at 84 proof.
Nose: Fruity, medium oak, with light notes of cooked agave.
Palate: Sweet, fruity, citrus.
Finish: Long, medium oak and vanilla.
