St. Patrick’s Distillery in Cork make their Irish gins using a combination of Lady Claire and Rosetta potatoes as the base spirit. As for botanicals, this expression is rather to-the-point, using just juniper, coriander, lemon peel, liquorice and angelica root. Expect defined juniper herbaceous notes carried on a creamy spirit with this one.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
Finish: Clean, crisp and smooth.
