The nightingale, or Solovey, is Ukraine’s national animal and a symbol of renewal and hope. It was chosen as the name for this wheat vodka created by Yasha Estraikh, a Ukrainian living in the UK, because he made it to support the people of Ukraine. Wonderfully, Solovey donates 100% of profits from sales to War Child.
A distillery, bar and restaurant (they have shops too) in Bow Wharf where you can sip a cocktail with the stills in view! The East End distillers have brought spirits production back to the area with their range of gins and vodkas as well as London Rye and other whiskies from 2018 onwards.
