Detailed Description
Those wonderful Sipsmith chaps have gone and made another vintage of their Sloe Gin! This is the 2013 vintage – like the ones that came before it, you can expect this to make fantastic cocktails and mixed drinks.
Sipsmith Sloe Gin Tasting Notes
Nose: Juicy fruits galore.
Palate: Notes of sloe berries, but they’re backed up by touches of strawberries and raspberries. As it develops, herbaceous elements of black pepper and earthy spices appear, alongside a hint of fresh citrus peels.
Finish: Smooth and refreshing.
Distillery Information
It all began in 2009, in a tiny workshop in Hammersmith, London. Three great friends – Sam, Fairfax, and Jared – set up London’s first traditional copper pot distillery in nearly 200 years. Their mission was simple: to bring London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character, back to the city where it first earned its name.
Every bottle of Sipsmith is hand crafted in genuinely small batches. Every drop of every batch is lovingly labored over by hand, by our dedicated Distillers. No regimented timings, no automatic cuts, just a craftsman’s flair and a passion for gin well made. We believe this is the only way to craft spirits of this quality.
