Detailed Description
Schrödinger’s Katzen Gin is a pot-still distilled London Dry Gin that was made with 14 organic botanicals including basil, hand-picked blueberries, coriander, cardamom, juniper, cubeb pepper, lemon thyme and Nepeta cataria. Commonly known as catnip, the latter is sourced from France and is said to have a lemony/minty smell.
Heidelberg Spirits, known for making Pussanga, developed this gin, which was named for the famous thought experiment or paradox devised by Nobel Prize-winning Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935.
Schrodinger’s cat is alive and well on this bottle’s label, however, and that’s all the science I need. I’d like to toast to its victory over probability and physics (I’m pretty sure that’s what happened here, I watched a documentary on science once) with a delicious G&T!
