Santo Grau Paraty has been made in the same way for five generations. The sugarcane is crushed using the power of a water-wheel, as it has been done since its drops were first bottled. Fermentation occurs naturally and slowly, until the ideal point is reached. It is distilled in flame-heated copper alembics. The result in matchless: an aromatic that has an intense taste with features that are typical of this coastal area.
