The malted rye whisky was initially matured in virgin heavily-charred American white oak, before it was finished in casks which previously held rum from Belize for six months. It was bottled at 46.5% ABV.
Nose: Strawberry, black pepper, lavender, a crackle of warm pine, blackberry, rose.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
