Distillery Information
Nelson’s Gin is the brainchild of one man, and his name isn’t Nelson, it’s Neil Harrison! A former chef, he decided to transfer his palate from the world of food to the world of gin, and began his distilling journey in 2014. So, why Nelson’s Gin and not Neil’s? As well as being dedicated to Lord Nelson, an iconic naval hero who, history says, was quite a gin fan, it also pays homage to Harrison’s grandfather, Nelson James Harrison. The still used was christened Victory, after Lord Nelson’s ship at the Battle of Trafalgar, with the first gin officially released in 2016.
