The Roger Groult family distillery can be found in the hills of the Pays d’Auge, where they’ve been making their Calvados for 5 generations! Distilled twice in traditional direct-fired stills, this Calvados was aged for 3 years. Named World’s Best Calvados at the World Calvados Awards 2014.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
