Rochelt Williams Pear is a premium eau de vie from the boutique Austrian distillery Rochelt. Produced from painstakingly hand-picked pears in the Styria region of southern Austria, this elegant pear brandy is bursting with ripe pear flavour.
Nose: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Palate: Intense yet at the same time smooth and mild.
Finish: Elegant long lasting aftertaste.
The distillery was founded in 1989 by his father-in-law, Günter Rochelt, who had decided he’d had enough of low-quality schnapps and started distilling a more refined fruit brandy for himself. When he died in 2009, Rainer took over; he now runs the distillery with his wife Annia and her sisters, Julia and Teresa.
