Shochu is a Japanese clear distilled spirit. It is a distilled beverage less than 25% alcohol by volume. Shochu remains to be one of Japan’s favorite liquor of choice. This particular set is a fantastic real sweet potato Japanese shochu. The set includes Riki 5 Years Old Shochu and Hikaru 6 Years Shochu. They come presented in a ceramic and regular bottle. Well worth a try!
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Lingering finish.
