Rhine Hall distills fresh fruit eau-de-vie in their distillery in Chicago, Illinois. Their cherry brandy is produced in the summer from a mash of de-pitted Michigan cherries, with roughly 15 pounds of plums needed to produce each 750ml bottle. Availability is limited.
Rhine Hall Cherry Brandy Tasting Notes
Nose: A rich, red cherry aroma comes off the spirit.
Palate: A rich, red cherry notes on the palate has loads of fruit, a hint of marzipan, and a slight medicinal note.
Finish: Tart and sweet.

Founded in 2013 by Charlie and Jenny Solberg, the Rhine Hall Distillery uses fresh fruit in order to create their signature brandies. Also known as eau de vie or schnapps, the Rhine Hall’s brandy contains no extra flavorings, sweeteners or neutral spirits in order to preserve the natural fruit flavoring thus giving their customers the true fruit brandy experience.
