The Louis XIII Cognac from Rémy Martin is a deluxe expression from the renowned producer, featuring around 1,200 different eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region, and even some spirit aged for more than 100 years. To call it wildly impressive is quite an understatement.
As if the standard-sized decanter wasn’t dramatic enough, this right here is a jeroboam of Louis XIII Cognac. The distinctive decanter (designed to look like a 1500s flask found on the site of the Battle of Jarnac) holds 3 litres of the phenomenal Cognac, and comes with four glasses, a stopper and a rather heavy case to house the bottle.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: The palate is an explosion of flavors and the finish is nice.
Finish: Finish is lingering.
