An intriguing eau de vie from Austria’s Reisetbauer, made with… Carrots! It takes 35 kilograms of carrots to make one litre of this spirit, and the carrots are given a double distillation to achieve the crisp, subtly sweet yet still vegetal flavour profile. We’d be very interested in seeing what sort of cocktails you can come up with using this!
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Lingering finish.
