La Nina del Mezcal Primario is made with agave Espadin in Santiago Matatlan. It has citric notes with a hint of green apple and smoke. It’s bottled at 40% ABV in order to make it a good fit for mixed drinks. Though this mezcal is made for cocktails it’s still made in small batches of about 2,000 litres each.
Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Notes of red apples, peat and milk chocolate on the palate.
Finish: Finishes with touches of peanut butter, roasted nuts and toasted bread.
