One of the selection of Bruno Pilzer single-variety grappa – this one has been distilled using the pomace from the Nosiola grape. Some say that the name of the grape comes from the Italian word for hazelnut, potentially because of the hazelnut-like aromas Nosiola wine possesses. Not much of that here, though – this grappa is more about the refined floral notes of the grape!
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
