In 1973 the family-run distillery created the first single varietal expression by distilling only the pomace of the Picolit grape in a special copper pot still. This 2000 vintage release is presented in a bespoke decanter made by the Murano-based glass manufacturer Venini.
Nose: Very elegant and precise aromas.
Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.
Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.
Antonio Nonino, third generation of the family of distillers, thanks to an ancient knowledge kept for generations, starts the production of Nonino liqueurs. He creates Amaro Carnia, an infusion of herbs from the mountains of Friuli, using the grappa he distilled as the alcoholic basis.
