In 1973 the family-run distillery created the first single varietal expression by distilling only the pomace of the Picolit grape in a special copper pot still. This 1999 vintage release is presented in a bespoke decanter made by the Murano-based glass manufacturer Venini.
Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.
Palate: The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture.
Finish: Great elegance and length on the finish.
Antonio Nonino, third generation of the family of distillers, thanks to an ancient knowledge kept for generations, starts the production of Nonino liqueurs. He creates Amaro Carnia, an infusion of herbs from the mountains of Friuli, using the grappa he distilled as the alcoholic basis.
