A non-alcoholic tipple from London-based Nine Elms, No.18 Ruby Velven is the first in a series of releases from the brand specially designed to complement food. It takes the juices from four different varieties of berry and botanical infusions from 20 different flowers, herbs and spices. It’s quite the cocktail of botanicals. The idea is to sip it neat alongside a good meal, though a dash of tonic wouldn’t go amiss either.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Long, delicate and complex.
