Niigata Kameda is a unique Japanese whisky made with a blend of carefully selected single malts aged in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels. The whisky is then finished in oak casks that have been seasoned with peat smoke, giving it a unique smoky flavor. The distillery has been producing whisky since the early 20th century and the Niigata Kameda New Pot Peated is a special limited edition release. This whisky is very smooth and balanced, offering a mix of sweet, smoky, and fruity flavors. The aroma is a mixture of peat smoke and floral notes, while the palate is dominated by notes of caramel, oak, and a subtle smokiness. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of peat smoke in the aftertaste.
