This superb single malt whisky from the Nagahama Distillery was matured in a Bordeaux wine cask that has imparted a range of rich, fruity aromas and flavours onto the smooth, elegant spirit. Expect winter berries, sultanas, sweet grape and Christmas cake alongside a gentle woodiness. Simply brilliant.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Finish is smooth and long.
