Micil Irish Poitín comes to us from the beautiful coastal city of Galway on the west coast of Ireland, made by 6th generation poitín makers. The spirit itself is grain-based, and flavoured with bogbean to give it a softly floral, spicy kick.
Nose: Menthol, violet and a touch of vanilla (complimenting the creamy mouth feel).
Palate: A slight peppery heat develops later on.
Finish: Lingering finish.
