On November 22 of this year, Messias Ferreira Baptista was born in the municipality of Mealhada. Messias Baptista is registered as an individual merchant at the Tribunal do Comércio de Anadia, representing the foundation of MESSIAS. Between 1930 and 1940, Messias Baptista acquired several properties in the Bairrada Region, having planted new vineyards and restored others. Of these estates, Quinta do Valdoeiro stands out.
