Moonshine from MB Roland, which uses a combination of white corn and sugar in its base spirit. Distilled at a low ABV in order to retain some of the corn’s flavourful characteristics, this has been bottled at 50% ABV, also known as 100 proof. Try sipping if you want the full flavour, or mix into all manner of cocktails where you’d normally find vodka.
Paul and Merry Beth Tomaszewski founded the MB Roland Distillery Pembroke, Christian Co. Kentucky in 2009 after an Amish dairy came up for sale. Wanting to create a true ‘grain-to-glass’ distillery, the duo only uses local white corn to make straight corn whiskey, moonshine, and good ol’ bourbon. Oh, the MB is Merry Beth, if you didn’t guess already.
