Luckily, you’ll be able to incorporate your preferred amount of vermouth when you make you own Gin Martini at home, and serve it in the snazzy Retro Fizz Glass that comes with this bargainous bundle deal.
Possible Gin Martini recipe 60ml Bathtub Gin 10ml Noilly Prat Original Dry Vermouth The ratio of gin to vermouth is personal preference, folks. The greater the proportion of gin, the ‘dryer’ your Martini is. The greater the proportion of vermouth, the ‘wetter’ it is. Try 6:1, 5:1, 10:3, even 15:1! It’s your cocktail!
Add the gin and vermouth into a mixing glass (or pint glass, or jam jar…) filled with ice and stir for at least 30 seconds. Then strain into your shiny new retro stemmed glass. Garnish with a lemon twist if you have a fresh lemon to hand, or simply enjoy ‘Dicken’s’ style if not (no olive or twist… Oliv-er Twist… geddit?).
Top tip: Whack your glass in the freezer before you start doing anything else so it’s good and cold by the time you need it (and store your vermouth in the fridge – at least once opened).
