The reserve expression from Marquis de Montesquiou, ‘double matured’ like the Fine and Extra Old. Like many Armagnacs, it’s initially matured in fresh local black oak casks, it’s later transferred to less active casks for the rest of its maturation.
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Finish is lingering.
