Ridiculously well-matured Bas Armagnac here from Marquis de Montesquiou, produced by a family that has been in Gascony since 1040 (it’s coming up on 1000 years in the region for them – we reckon that party will be a hoot). This expression was distilled all the way back in 1973, and comes presented in Marquis de Montesquiou distinctive bottles.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Finish is smooth and long.
