Detailed Description
A 2008 Mannochmore single malt from indie bottler Watt Whisky, matured in a pair of hogsheads of 12 years and rested in an ex-brandy butt for three months before being bottled in 2020. Its a creamy, nutty whisky, with notes of roast hazelnuts, honeycomb and fresh ginger throughout the palate.

Nose: Sweet jellied fruits, sweetie shop, dried fruits, prunes, raisins, pear drops, nutty walnut, maple & pecan pie and candied nuts.
Palate: Oily, medium-full bodied, toffee, caramel, sugared almonds, milk chocolate coated raisins, cherry drops, rosy apples, pear drops and redcurrant jelly.
Finish: Medium long, with trace notes of cinnamon and orange candy.
Distillery Information
Mannochmore is a Diageo workhorse distillery, making malt whisky for the Haig and Dimple blends. Built on the grounds of the company’s Glenlossie distillery in 1971, Mannochmore is a high-capacity distillery with a potential production of 3.2 million litres a year.
