Bas Armagnacs between 20 and 40 years old are characterized by scents of leather as well as roasting and spices. Appearance – Amber gold color with orange highlights going to copper highlights. Nose – Leather and oak spices with apricot and cacao. On the palate – Leather and tobacco with treacle, chestnuts, citrus peel, and dark berries.
