Maison Gelas is an estate that has been in the family for five generations. It is located in the Haut-Armagnac region of France. The estate produces their own brandy, and their Ugni Blanc Armagnac is made from 100% pure grape alcohol and distilled twice. This 25 year old product is a white spirit that can be used in many cocktails, such as the Pimm’s Cup.
Nose: On the nose, this Armagnac gives off flavors of dark candied citrus, herbal grape, and oak spice.
Palate: The taste reveals dried fruits, toasted oak spice, and ripe fruit.
Finish: The finish is long and pleasing with everything in balance and slowly fading.
