This Ledaig, from the Tobermory Distillery, has been bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the Connoisseur’s Choice series. It’s been matured first in refill sherry hogsheads before being finished in Hermitage casks for three years.
Nose: Aromas of summer berries and lemon zest.
Palate: Notes of black pepper, raspberries and apple.
Finish: Medium-bodied, fruity with lingering smoke.
Tobermory distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery situated on the Hebridean island of Mull, Scotland in the town of Tobermory. The distillery, which was formerly known as Ledaig, was founded in 1798.
