Description
Detailed Description
Produced in Couvet, the birth-place of absinthe, La Clandestine paved the way for the clear version of the spirit around the globe. Hand-crafted in very small batches using the finest plants, it’s a proper distilled spirit, unlike several versions that rely on maceration. It’s a 100% natural spirit with no added color that is bottled at 106 proof.

Distillery Information
Claude-Alain Bugnon, who was born in the region but worked in the refining of petroleum, became interested in the drinks created by his ancestors and enjoyed for generations. At the head of Artemisia artisanal distillery, Claude-Alain and Karine Bugnon follow only one strategy : their passion for absinthe. The real one, obviously, produced with plants from Val-de-Travers cultivated with care by our farmers. Claude-Alain and Karine Bugnon have imposed a rigorous philosophy on their distillery: respect for traditional absinthe and the maintenance of quality artisanal production.
