Detailed Description
A Pineau des Charentes Blanc from Jean Fillioux, a Cognac house based in the Grande Champagne region. We reckon this’ll be good on a warm summer afternoon with plenty of ice.
Jean Fillioux Vieux Pineau des Charentes Blanc Tasting Notes

Distillery Information
Jean Fillioux was founded in 1880 by Honoré Fillioux. The men of the Fillioux family are reputed to be blessed with ‘an exceptional nose’, thus they are decidedly qualified to craft Cognac. The vineyards are at the centre of the Grande Champagne designation, where the top soils are of chalk and clay covering Cretaceous-period soft chalk and it is said these vineyards produce the most poised Cognacs. The operations are overseen by Pascal J Fillioux, the cellar master.
