What isn’t a mystery is that the whisky was distilled in 1992, and spent 31 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel. The cask was opened by indie bottler Signatory in 2024, independently releasing a total of 237 bottles for the Symington’s Choice Cask Strength Collection.
Nose Aroma is very pleasant and delightful.
Palate This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

The independent bottler Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. At that time, Symington was still the manager of a luxury hotel in Edinburgh with a penchant for good Scotch whisky. Initially, Symington wanted to have a famous personality sign the bottle label of each bottling.
