Detailed Description
Distilled at Inchgower in February 2010, this single-malt spent over 12 years maturing, initially in American oak before finishing in a Madeira wine cask. The cask was opened in 2022 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., releasing a total of 282 bottles for the Cooper’s Choice collection.

Nose Honeyed sultanas, cinnamon biscuits, stone fruit pastries, and runny caramel.
Palate Ginger, toffee, a touch of leather, and biscuity malt, with honeyed nuts joining in time.
Finish Marmalade and treacle join for the finish, with a smidge of peppery spice.
Distillery Information
The distillery was built in 1871 to replace Tochineal Distillery but liquidated in 1903. Buckie Council purchased the concern in 1936 and ownership was transferred to Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd in 1938 and indeed to this very day the Bell’s logo is used in the advertising of Inchgower.
